Mark Torma

Mark Torma, Bass, was born in Rochester, New York, grew up in Alliance, Ohio, and first lived in the South Bend area when he was getting his bachelor's degree in Anthropology at Notre Dame. Since then, he has worked at NETWORK and the Center of Concern in Washington, went to graduate school at the University of Chicago, and got a law degree at the University of Minnesota. Somewhere in there, he also found time to do a lot of singing with groups like the Notre Dame Glee Club and the Washington Men's Camerata, and has enjoyed performing in musical theater for even longer, even becoming head writer of the Law School Musical during his last year in law school. He is now a practicing lawyer here in South Bend, and is also Executive Director of the Volunteer Lawyers Network. He is excited to be in his third year with SBCS.
